The Procedo Project Expands Leadership Team

Dr. Elise Matson-Dite Joins Preeminent Catholic School Innovation Organization

MONTVALE, NJ (September 2, 2021) – The Procedo Project, which curates, develops and implements innovative Catholic school models has expanded its leadership team by appointing Dr. Elise Matson-Dite as Chief Learning Officer. Dr. Matson-Dite has been a leader in education both as a Principal and most recently as the Director of Leadership Formation for the Archdiocese of Chicago where she developed and oversaw Principal recruitment and professional development. In this new role, she will focus on developing and delivering leadership and professional development programs to Diocese and schools. Dr. Matson-Dite will report directly to Founder and CEO, Alex Urrea and join Procedo’s leadership team.

With over 15 years of experience in Catholic education, Dr. Matson-Dite brings an extensive level of expertise and knowledge working with school leaders, aspiring leaders and teachers to raise the quality and impact of Catholic education. “We are extremely pleased to welcome Elise to the Procedo team.” stated Urrea. “She brings a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities Catholic school leaders and teachers face when bringing innovation to their schools. She will be a strong advocate and advisor to Diocesan and school leaders that partner with The Procedo Project.”

The COVID pandemic has impacted every educational institution ranging from early through higher education, non-secular and secular, to special education. It has challenged school leaders and teachers in ways never imagined. Yet, most Catholic schools have risen to the challenge and must now embrace and maintain innovation as a core principle in order to remain relevant and viable faith-based learning organizations.

Dr. Matson-Dite will join Andrea Chavez-Kopp, who has been elevated to Chief Program Officer for Procedo, where she will focus on developing, implementing and overseeing partnerships and programs that align and support the organization’s mission to support Catholic education.
